Troubleshooting and getting help
An upload stopped or didn't finish
Upload Incomplete means some files didn't reach DroidMap. Click Retry Failed to send them again, and check your connection if it keeps happening.
If the files uploaded but DroidMap hasn't confirmed them, click Check Again or Re-upload Unconfirmed. See what "incomplete" means.
Before you use an asset set in a mapping job, open it and check that its asset count matches the number of files you uploaded.
The wizard warns about image overlap
Overlap is estimated from each image's position, so it is advice rather than a guarantee. You can continue after you acknowledge the warning, but a job that produces gaps is still charged in full.
The best fix is to refly with more overlap. Around 75% front and 65% side is a good target.
The wizard says no position data was found
The images have no GPS information DroidMap can read. Check that they are the camera's original files, because some editing tools remove this data.
A mapping job failed
- On the project's Tasks tab, open the task's Actions menu and click Run details to see which stage failed.
- Check that every image in the input asset set finished uploading.
- Check the overlap of your imagery.
If the input looks right, contact us with the name of the project and the task.
A job won't start because of credits or budget
The Summary step explains what stopped the job and links to the action that fixes it. See Plans, credits and storage.
